A Song About Modesty

There are plenty of songs about love and romance. But after a decade, there is still very little competition for the modesty song that I wrote when I was 19. Please enjoy IYH Modesty Song 2.0.

Verse 1:
I am a princess, a jewel laid in a crown,
A child of G-d, a woman of renown,* (see footnote)
I have to live, up to my special place,
In my house, in the world, even in outer space!
Chorus:
The clothes that I wear, the things that I see,
The words that I say, are all a part of me,
A righteous woman, is what I want to be,
Like my foremothers, who practiced modesty! (2x)
Verse 2:
A beautiful crown, in the hand of G-d, take care,
When G-d protects you, there is nothing to fear.
Even when no one else in the world seems to care,
Try to be holier, your soul will be aware!

You probably agree that it needs some work. So far, my friends have pointed out the following:
1. The line about outer space is a little hokey.
2. I should write "foremothers" instead of "ancestresses".
3. The original Hebrew/English version flowed better, but was incomprehensible to anyone who doesn't speak Hebrew.
