Thank you for teaching me something new - I hadn't known that "Elokeinu" means "watches over us"
(I'm waiting for the big reveal at some point where Boris discovers his Jewish ancestry) (either that or he meets Tzadok HaTzaddik of Toras Avigdor fame and hilarity ensues - in an appropriately Torah educational way, of course)
Thank you for teaching ME something new! Who is Tzadok Hatzaddik of Toras Avigdor fame? I have read a lot of Rabbi Miller and don't remember that at all.
Sorry, left out the Jr. He's a recurring character in the Toras Avigdor Jr. Weekly newsletters. They take HaRav Miller's lessons from the Parsha and present them in story form for kids (and adults).
That could mean one of three things, or all three.
1. Watches over us in a specific manner. Each of us has our own connection to Hashem, with Him watching over us personally and ensuring our success, survival, and happiness.
2. We accept Him as our G-d, following His rules and acting as He wishes us to act.
3. The G-d who commands us how to act and governs our behavior.
Can't wait to read day 2!
Thank you!
Love it!

Elokenu literally means 'our G-d.
