Day 4/8: Boris Hellenizes The Chocolate Coins
In yet another attempt, Boris recalled how the Greeks had forced the Jews to inscribe on their oxen's horns, "I do not have a part in the G-d of Israel." These horns were used as baby bottles. The Greeks hoped the babies drinking from them would be spiritually influenced.1
Inspired, Boris looked at the chocolate coins sold in his store, each bearing an image of Judah Maccabee or a Menorah. He could use them as a negative spiritual influence! Smiling to himself, he decided to replace Judah Maccabee's image with those of Greek philosophers and images from ancient Grecian culture. He was certain no one would notice his subtle attempt to introduce negative spiritual elements.

That year, Boris placed a special order from Greece, requesting chocolate coins imprinted with the faces of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. To his surprise, the concept proved incredibly popular in Greece itself. So much so, that the Greeks decided to keep these coins for their own use and declined to ship them to Boris's store.
Consequently, Boris had no choice but to continue selling the usual chocolate coins with Judah Maccabee and menorahs in his store.
